I agree its the best entry that was posted on that contest!

The skin texture of the neck doesn't looks right to me. All those little bump on his neck, it doesn't feel like a "goose bump skin" it feels kinda roughs and maybe a little stretched. I don't feel the softness of the skin, its a bit like a rock texture that is skin color.

A little more reddish color variation in the shader might help too.

The ear, (on the contrary of the neck) feels too soft, both for the texture and the model's crease. Rougher texture would help a lot there.

The ear is a very slim membrane that "rolls around" to form the ear shape we have. Your might be a little too thick and slightly lacking translucidity / color change. It might also lack reflectivity when we consider the shine on the forehead. His skin isn't matte at all at the moment, he probably had some action not too long ago!

Nevertheless its good to see you have already made the inside parts of the ear more reddish than the external parts, it just needs a little more tweaking.

I'm being nitpicky there... overall its an incredible quality render, and that face is simply stunning, one of the best 3D face iv seen in a while!

wow that's amazing work, so lifelike.. the only thing i can hardly critique would be his ear, the rest of the face is amazingly textured but the ear seems to be a tad out of sync with the rest of the skin tones. looks a little flat..

His ear should be placed lower so that it starts at eye level and it should end at the lipline. The back of his neck looks a little flat, and the hair on top of his head could be a bit more coarse..looks kinda feathery right now Other than that this is brilliant work!!
